‘It’s all your fault!’ – Nigel Botterill
Sounds harsh but it’s true.
I was invited to a local business event called the Richmond Expo in April where I heard Nigel Botterill give an inspiring talk about having your own business and becoming super successful. I’ve since joined the Entrepreneurs circle which is run by Nigel and it has been fantastic. I’ve learnt a lot!
One of the things he said that gave me a massive wakeup call was the statement ‘It’s all your fault!’. Everything that happens in your business, good and bad, is down to you.
‘The recession!’ I hear you cry, ‘That’s not my fault!’ No, but how you respond to it is. When faced with problems in business (and life) we have choices in how we deal with them. We can turn things into a positive if we want to. We live in a blame culture unfortunately and with all the ‘have you had an accident and it’s not your fault’ claim adverts constantly thrown at us we are pushed even more into the ‘it’s someone else’s fault’ mentality. It’s a coping mechanism. But if we can break that trend and take responsibility then it’s actually incredibly empowering!
I believe that the world is full of fantastic and exciting opportunities so take this moment to do something to take your career and your business to the next level!
You’re welcome to share statements below that have been wake up calls for you.

Hmm I have heard quite a few things about Nigel and his Entreprenures Circle all mostly good!
As you know I am a website developer and that is how I make my living! But from time to time it’s always goof to give freely, help others and pay it forward. This is what I try and do with my blog post’s and give my help and advice for free to help and empower my readers.
Doing something for nothing that will enhance someones business or blog without expecting nothing in return will in the long run pay dividends.
Great post Rachel and I am happy to share! BTW are you still happy with that app I made for you?

Good day! This post couldn’t be written any better! Reading through this post reminds
me of my previous room mate! He always kept chatting about this.
I will forward this article to him. Fairly certain he will
have a good read. Thank you for sharing!
